3 STAGES OF PURIFICATION REPLACEABLE CERAMIC FILTER * Replacement filter cartridge lasts 6 months or 2,000 liters of water (whichever comes first). It is unique because: 1. This is the water filter manufactured in Greece by CENTER PLUS SA and combines international experience with the most advanced EUROPEAN technology in the field of micropore ceramic water filters. 2. The ceramic filter, contained in the device and whose pores are 10 times smaller than the size of pathogenic bacteria, which in some cases may be present in drinking water * , retains 100% of pathogenic microorganisms in water, such as: E. coli, typhoid fever, cholera, salmonella, fecal coliforms, staphylococci, pathogenic and spore-forming bacteria, enterococci, cryptosporidium, etc. 3. In addition, the ultracompact ceramic filter also retains the billions of "corpses" of microbes in the water that chlorine kills and that we drink daily with tap water, while the same ceramic filter retains sediment, sludge, rust, etc. 4. The compact activated carbon located inside the ceramic filter, as well as other elements of the cartridge, are able to retain chlorine to a satisfactory extent or even (if present in the water) pesticides, phenols, toxic substances, asbestos fibers, hexavalent chromium, cadmium, arsenic, lead and other heavy metals, allowing us to drink all the beneficial elements of water, such as: mineral salts, trace elements, etc. 5. It is placed for about 1 minute on almost all kitchen faucets or another faucet. 6. The connection tap (switch) it has allows you to provide filtered water when you want it and unfiltered when you want to do household chores. 7. Finally, Olympus+ water filters are designed for city water, which is controlled by municipal authorities and are the water filters with which you will drink HEALTHY, CRYSTALLINE, OLYMPIC WATER throughout your life. * City water, because it is controlled by municipal authorities and chlorinated, is generally free from microbial contamination. However, in some cases, water can become contaminated by the ingress of bacteria, either due to a burst pipe, insufficient chlorination of the water, or the presence of certain bacteria, such as cryptosporidium, etc., which are resistant to disinfection and chlorine cannot destroy them.
